Six months!

Loves: Sitting up and playing with toys, swinging outside, pulling your socks off, thinking you are eating grown up food

Dislikes: being dried off after a bath, being put down when you are sleepy, baby cereal

Clothes: Some 3-6 mo and 6 or 9 mo. Still (barely) fit into some 3 mo onsies. Size 2.5 (thank you, European brands) or 3 shoes. Size 3 diapers (still squeezing into the dregs of the size 2s that we have left).

You weighed 17lb 3oz and were 26.25 inches long one week ago. You get 6mo shots Friday. You are getting to be longer and leaner but are strong as an ox.

Hair is light brown with a slight auburn tint and is growing. It's already thick like your parents' hair. Your Eyes staying gunmetal gray/blue.

You eat baby food daily (no meat yet.... the thought grosses me out). You usually eat 2-3 oz at daycare and little bit at night. You don't love baby cereal but will tolerate it if mixed with food. you have tried everything from avocado to green beans and like it all. You ate your first "puff" on May 5 and had your first taste of snowcone today. You are still otherwise breastfed.

You still wake up once at night, but usually take your paci or dreamfeed and never really wake all the way up. With me working, you are flexible with your night routine. You've done nights with your Daddy, ReeRee and KK.

You do great at daycare. You are the "smiley baby."

You love to "talk." You love to try out your voice and make high-pitched squeals, growls, and you occasionally sing yourself to sleep.

You are BUSY. You roll all over the ground, jump like a frog, and grab everything you think you can reach. You splash in the bathtub.

Eating with you is like corralling a six-armed monkey. You want every cup, plate or utensil you see. We can hand you a cup or bottle and you try to drink out of them all.

You are VERY social and smile all the time. This amazes people. You only fuss if you're fighting sleep.

Everything goes in your mouth.

You have been sitting up unassisted for a few weeks. You will roll all over the place and can scoot some.

You smile a lot and giggle when tickled. You are ticklish everywhere.

You will dive at people to give "sugar." It's slobbery and open-mouthed, but precious.

You love to play peekaboo and think me saying "pee-pie" is hilarious.
