Clothes: You are tall and skinny! You can wear any shirts from 6-9 months to 2T. Your pants and shorts are 6-9 month (shorts), or 9 or 12 month pants. You are in 9-12 month or 12mo pajamas. Children's Place "stretchies" have been our very favorites from the beginning.
I'm not sure how much you weigh. You just had a GI bug, so this would not be the best time to weigh you. You're probably around 21 lbs if I had to gues.
I trimmed your hair this month. It was looking fairly mullet-y in the back. I just trimmed it across the back and above your ears. It curls when wet.
You are still the happiest baby ever.
You have developed some stranger anxiety. You don't go to everyone, but you are comfortable with familiar people. If you are around someone a little while, you'll generally warm up to them. You usually prefer women over men.
You eat anything. You will eat macaroni and cheese, but you suck off the cheese sauce and spit out the noodles.
We are still nursing... this is one of my proudest mom accomplishments! You nurse first thing in the morning, then around lunch, mid-afternoon, and before bed. You sometimes nurse before I go to bed.
You go to bed anywhere between 6-8pm based on our schedule and how tired you are, and you usually wake up on your own around 5:30 or 6 am. You usually take a morning nap around 9 and an afternoon nap around 2.
No new teeth. You have 4 on top, 2 on bottom. You may be teething again, but aren't too fussy.
You'll walk a few steps, but prefer to crawl.
You talk like a pro. You can repeat almost anything we say. You let us know exactly who you want, you will say "yeah" or "uh-uh" appropriately to questions. You can point things out in books and can point out familiar people in pictures.
You still get jealous if I'm holding Avery.
You are still using your potty regularly.
