12 Weeks

How far along: 12 weeks 3 Days
Baby Size: size of a lime
Maternity clothes: Some pants
Sleep: Mostly no trouble going to sleep and staying asleep
Best moment this week: nothing says a good time like posting a pregnancy announcement on facebook (Christmas Day)
Food cravings: Salty things, had to switch to gummy vitamins (others made me super sick)
What I'm looking forward to: Things progressing well, finding out gender (February)
Pregnancy symptoms: mild nausea
Weight gained thus far: 3 lbs (not sure how much is attributable to the holidays)
Girl or boy: No clue although we've started thinking of names for both

14 Months

Since this is serving now as a way to record what is amounting to a virtual baby book (I do have a box of memorabilia and an actual baby book... that I haven't written much in), I'll likely be less structured from here on out.

14 Months.

Talking like crazy. Answers "yeah" and "no" appropriately, says Mama, Daddy, Dada, Rita, KK, Eric, Abee (Avery), Annie, Beck-beck, Bee-yull (Bill), and has said Jimmo or Jimyo a few times. He calls his teacher "Buh-buh-buh," but it is specific. He also says Let's go, Here go (here you go), thank you, welcome (you're welcome), nope!, sit down, yum yum, night night, spash (splash), book, boon (spoon), out!, peepie, memememe (meaning mine, pick me up, give me whatever, etc.) and BOO! He also famously repeated a family member saying "crap!" Kid is hilarious.

Wearing 12 mo clothes mostly, size 4-5 shoes, size 3 diapers.

Bumped his lip today at daycare and got a fat busted lip, his first. This is actually what prompted this posting.

He is obsessed with SPOONS. It's hilarious... he is partial to old wooden spoons, but he also loves big cooking spoons and spatulas or ladles. He will carry them constantly, sleeps with them, uses them as tools, bathes with them, takes them to daycare, you name it.

Running, climbing, crawling, meddling.
