We told my parents Easter weekend. Mama was so excited. Daddy said he thought I was looking chubby, then said he'd call the baby Algonquin Calhoun J. Miller until further notice. The next week, I called my best friend and told her (knowing me as she does, she guessed before I called her). Then later, I told two girls I work with and have been on night shift with this month.
This week, I told my mentor/friend/attending, then was silent until yesterday (Friday).
I told my cousin Jennifer, then we went and told my aunt (Annie... She kept me and Katie when we were kids)... Then, I went and told Halle (video of her reaction to come), then Makayla (her reaction corded with Halle's assistance). I let them tell their parents. Then we told my grandparents. I called one of my dear friends from my school days and told her, then texted a few others who fit into the "better hear it from me, or they'd kill me" group.
Today, I texted a few work friends. We told my father-in-law, then John's two aunts and his grandmother. Then finally, a sort of fitting end to the blur of a 48 hour period, we met our friends who are directly responsible for setting us up for dinner and told them.
I wanted to tell others on Facebook, but to not be overly annoying and to allow The Baby's only (technical, blood) aunt to have some of the fun, I let Katie share the news

9 and a half weeks...
How far along: 9 weeks and 4 days
Baby Size: grape
Maternity clothes: I bought a few things (jeans, capris, two shirts) but haven't worn them yet.
Sleep: I still want to do nothing but sleep. I'm on night shift for three weeks, but I've been able to get a fair bit of sleep while at work and plenty at home.
Best moment this week: nausea is decreasing
Food cravings: Poptarts (honestly haven't had any in probably 10 years, but I flung a craving and bought a box)
What I'm looking forward to: Telling my family! Hopefully telling my parents this weekend
Pregnancy symptoms: mild nausea, exhaustion
Girl or Boy: Still imagining a boy... probably because I have a girl name picked out, but no set boy names.
