Hair: Straight on top, curly on the sides and in back, thick and light brown. Blue eyes.
Food: You nurse at night and in the morning. You refuse most cups and bottles during the day, whether whole milk or pumped milk. You are eating table food with a baby food "squeezie" every now and then. You love bananas, shredded cheese, any kind of cracker or cookie, most meats, yogurt and oatmeal.
You prefer your brother, parents or grandparents. You are ok with a few others, but will cry if you see me or Ree-Ree around (and not holding you).
You are saying more words every day. You can repeat a lot of words but sometimes refuse to do so. You are very good at pointing. You are clear with telling us "uh-uh" (no). You still say Mama, Dada, Bubba, Bye, book, duck, mo, baby, me (gimme), ma-ee (Maggie), uh-oh, pa-pa (pacifier), baba (bottle/cup), out (outside). You understand a LOT.
You can follow directions well. You love to pick up toys or blocks, and you are very proud of yourself when we all clap for you.
You wake up around 6 am, take a short morning nap and a longer afternoon nap most days.
You can walk, are starting to run, and are a climber.

You have two bottom teeth and are working on your top teeth (not quite broken through yet).
You had your birthday party and got a lot of toys and clothes. You love books and are starting to carry around baby dolls. You LOVE to carry around blankets but are not attached to any specific one.

Eleven months
Loves: walking, playing in mud puddles, eating, your brother
Dislikes: thinking you have been left alone, being put down when you think you need to be held, most people other than your (very few) approved few
Clothes: Mostly 9-12 mo or 12 mo. Size 3 shoes
Hair is medium brown, thick and curling behind your ears. Eyes are dark Steel blue.
You are breastfeeding. You are pretty much done with bottles. You eat table food and some baby food. You love a sippy cup.
You LOVE food. You waste nothing and will beat on your tray or grab the spoon if we are being slow. You feed yourself well but generally make a big mess. You like bananas, crackers, ham, bacon, ice cream, and anything someone else is eating.
You are super alert and don't want to miss a thing. You fight sleep sometimes.
Your brother is your favorite person, and as far as big people go, you prefer me and your ReeRee most of the time. Your daddy and Jimbo are next in line. You are ok with a few cousins and others but don't like most people to hold you.
You love to to talk. You say Mama, Dada, Bubba and ByeBuse, book, mo (more), me (gimme), ma-ee (Maggie), uh-oh and a few other words.

You absolutely took off walking this month. You walk everywhere and can recover if you fall. You also can climb up or down on anything you can reach.
You weigh somewhere around 19.5-20 lbs.
You got tubes this month. Everyone at the hospital loved you.

You know where your eyes and tongue are. You still mix up ears and nose. You know how to pat your belly when someone asks who/where is pretty baby.

Dislikes: walking (you've taken steps when you were distracted but refuse to do it with encouragement), being hungry, thinking you have been left alone, being put down when you think you need to be held, most people other than your (very few) approved few

You are breastfeeding. You eat like a champ and have decided that bottles aren't your favorite (you take them in small doses). You love a sippy cup.

Clothes: Mostly 9 mo. Size 2 shoes
Hair is dark-medium brown and getting thicker. Eyes staying Steel blue.
You are breastfeeding. You eat like a champ and have decided that bottles aren't your favorite (you take them in small doses).
You take several bottles a day (3-5 usually), from 2-4 oz each. You nurse 1-2 times at night before bed.
you LOVE food. You waste nothing and will beat on your tray or grab the spoon if we are being slow.
You are super alert and don't want to miss a thing. You fight sleep sometimes.
You prefer me and your ReeRee most of the time but are fine with other people if we are around. Your daddy and Jimbo are next in line.

Six months!

Dislikes: being hungry, having a wet/dirty diaper, thinking you have been left alone, sleeping alone on a flat surface without blankets
Clothes: Mostly 6 mo or 6-9 mo. Size 2 shoes
Hair is dark-medium brown and growing back in. Eyes staying Steel blue.
You are breastfeeding. You eat like a champ and also take pumped bottles well.
You take 4 bottles a day at 4 oz each. You nurse 1-2 times at night before bed.

You wake up Maybe once a night and prefer to sleep in your toddler rocker chair.
