Things we love... one year!

1. Cozy Coupe-- HUGE first birthday present hit. LOVES it.

2. These shoes (or the older version of these shoes)... Stride Rite, Velcro, round toed. These are his go-to daycare shoes.
3.  This toy... Melissa and Doug (we love their stuff!), color matching caterpillar with gears. They interlock and turn, but can be used as a matching game too. Andrew loves to carry the gears around with him.

4. Munchkin 84 piece letter, number and sea life bathtub set. We love these! They stick to the side of the tub. Andrew likes to put them back in the container or in his bath toy net.

5.  Space bags... We are packing up the too-small (and too-big) baby clothes, and space bags are a miracle. I initially had a few Rubbermaid containers which worked well, but now that my sister is returning clothes my nephew has outgrown, I need to change my storage habits. Space bags (when the vacuum seal is used), work fantastically for this purpose. Andrew likes to crawl all over the bags too (before I put them into storage).

ONE YEAR!!

Sugar dumplin'...

Loves: walking, talking, all things related to cars (or things with wheels), balls and animals, you love being tickled, when we fake sneeze, and you love to climb!

 Dislikes: being scolded, diaper changes

Clothes: You are still tall and skinny! You can wear any shirts from 6-9 months to 2T. Your pants and shorts are 6-9 month (shorts), or 9 or 12 month pants.  You are in 9-12 month or 12mo pajamas. You weighed 21 lbs when we weighed you a week ago.
You are still the happiest baby ever.
You LOVE being outside. You are content to swing, rock, walk around, or sit in the grass. You love watching vehicles and busses go by. You are enamored with the garbage and recycling trucks.

You eat almost anything, but not a large amount of it. You will eat puffs until we run out, but otherwise, you usually take 3-5 bites and are done. You LOVE carbs (you are your mother's child).

We are still nursing. In the last week, we have transitioned to no breast milk during the day (while at school, you drink whole milk or water with occasional juice), and you nurse in the morning and before bed.

You go to bed anywhere between 6-7pm based on our schedule and how tired you are, and you usually wake up on your own around 6am. You usually take one nap during the day, but will take 2 if you are home with me all day.

No new teeth. You have 4 on top, 2 on bottom.

You are walking and climbing. You haven't tried to crawl out of your crib yet, but you try to crawl out of the bathtub every night.

You talk like a pro. You can repeat almost anything we say. You let us know exactly who you want, you will say "yeah" or "uh-uh" appropriately to questions. You can point things out in books and can point out familiar people in pictures.

You love to pat other babies. You have gotten in trouble for biting at daycare a few times. Your best friend at daycare is one day older than you, and y'all will move up to the Toddler Class tomorrow. You LOVE your main teacher in the baby room and will have to adjust to new teachers.

You are still using your potty regularly.

You are the best.
