I realize now how focused my life is... I pretty much work, and when I'm not at work, I'm preparing/reading/studying for work and its associated tests. And I can't write about any of that on here. So, in lieu of silence, I saw this on someone else's blog and figured I'd give it a whirl.
1. How long have you been blogging? And what got you started on blogging? Has your blog changed?
My first blog (visibly cringing here) was back in high school... everyone had a xanga or livejournal or even worse, a geocities website. I had a blog in med school that I had to take down (never fear, I have all of my posts saved...somewhere), and now this. I started this one in particular to sort of follow the pregnancy trail, and eventually will use it as a full family blog once the kid arrives.
2. Did you go to college? If so where, and what did you study?
Yes... University of Mississippi for everything, I double majored in biology and biochemistry for my bachelor's degree (nerd!) and also got my M.D.3. Where have you traveled?
Countries other than the United States: Canada, Greece, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Japan

4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would buy?
5. What are your 3 biggest pet peeves?
1. Being late
2. Purposefully mispronouncing words or trying to sound different than one's natural accent (more southern, more ghetto, more sophisticated, more country, etc.)
3. Watching sloppy people eat
6. What is your favorite movie?
A League of Their Own
7. What is your drink of choice; wine, beer, or liquor. Or Water, Soda, Tea?
Not much of a drinker... wine gives me migraines. Otherwise water, Coke Zero, half-and-half tea.
8. What is something you enjoy to do when you have me time?
9. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be?
10. Share with us an embarrassing moment of your past? Or present.
There are many... This is stupid, but I remember it distinctly... walking around all day in the 8th grade with an American Eagle shirt one that had the size sticker square in the middle of one side of my chest... no one told me. I found it in 7th period.

13. What are the jobs you had in high school/college/the early years?
High school- babysitter, office worker at a law firm, tutor
College- Teaching Assistant (biology department), biological research assistant in ornithology (didn't get paid, but did get college credit), tutor, day care employee, summer intern in a neuropsychiatry research lab
Med School- summer intern for the family medicine department, babysitting, organizer for other people's houses/stuff, tutor
14. Show us a picture from high school or college.
This is from my senior year of high school... We played Prep. They brought this sign and hung it on the fence when the game started. We all still remember it vividly. Some brave souls tore it down... ;)
15. If you could travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go?

I don't have one that would include everyone I want it to... so just placehold this until November!
17. Where do you see your life 5 years from now?
Being gainfully employed as a physician somewhere in Mississippi while balancing kid(s?), family, and fun.
